BestFinalExpense.com is an independent research site covering final expense and burial insurance in the United States. We publish company reviews, coverage explainers, state information and side-by-side comparisons.

What we do

We read carrier materials, policy documents and state filings, and we write up what they actually say. Where a detail cannot be confirmed from a primary source, we leave it out and say so rather than filling the gap with a plausible guess.

What we are not

We are not an insurer, an agency or a broker. We do not sell policies, take applications, or make underwriting decisions, and nothing here is a quote. Premiums, eligibility and availability are set by the insurer and can change at any time.

We are also not your adviser. Final expense cover is a personal financial decision that depends on your age, health, budget and what you need the policy to do. For advice about your own situation, speak to a licensed insurance professional in your state.
